You will gain practical experiences in film production and production management and learn to understand the links between critical analysis and creative practice as well as the formal aesthetics of film composition and structure in relation to different contexts of production. You also have the opportunity to explore film across a broad range of genres, time periods, and regions, from Hollywood, world and independent cinema, to documentaries and television.

This programme gives you the option to complete a:

2+1 (2 years at IACT and the final year at the University of Essex), or
1+2 (1 year at IACT and 2 years at the University of Essex)
