What is Digital Media Production?

In the present economy, migration to Digital Television production has seen a rise in the demand for content creation in the area of entertainment. Consumption of streaming video on demand has far surpassed demands, with an influx of channels available to the everyday audience.

Digital Media Production focuses on entertainment media creation namely – Visual Effects and Digital Video Production. These focus areas spearhead digital content production for the Over The Top (OTT) media segment, entertainment media distribution (cinema & broadcast ) and streaming content platforms (Youtube).

What will I study in Digital Media Production?

Anyone can write stories but at Digital Media Production we write stories to captivate. Students will learn to craft their own stories and build their narrative world; this will involve watching and learning from the cinematic masters. Before embarking on their own visual story, the student learns how to visually tell a scenario through the use of cinematic lens, weaving through reel time. In the advanced stages, students will learn to enhance their visual stories with the use of Visual Effects (VFX) and Compositing for the moments that require post production magic. The course is designed for students who are visual and kinesthetic learners who appreciate cinematic arts, aspires to build narratives that captures the imagination of audiences and wanting to level up their content creation mastery.
