The Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Management from Lincoln University will prepare you with a strong understanding of sport and recreation management at an advanced level. This is a one-year qualification that you can take providing you’ve completed a relevant undergraduate degree.
This programme will build on your understanding and knowledge of the sport and recreation sector, and its diversity and complexity. You’ll grow your appreciation of how elements such as policy bodies, political systems, economic and environmental change can influence business decisions and long-term planning within the sport and recreation arena. You’ll strengthen your quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, and become practiced at solving both theoretical and practical problems. You’ll also expand your skills to be capable of high-level sophisticated research, potentially continuing on to PhD study.
Programme Structure
You'll complete one compulsory course and a dissertation at 600-level.
You'll also complete two courses chosen from the lists below, plus one elective course from the Master's Degree courses offered across the university.
