Spa therapists are in hot demand. Train with us and you鈥檒l gain valuable work experience in our fully equipped salon. We offer hot stone therapy, Indian head, lymphatic drainage massage reflexology.
You鈥檒l gain in-depth knowledge of the features and benefits of spa therapies (Aix massage) and the science of the industry (balneotherapy, thalassotherapy).
This course has close links with the local spa industry, allowing class field trips to experience spa services in action. You鈥檒l also gain plenty of hands-on experience providing spa services at our professional campus salon.
Graduates can work as qualified spa therapists and demand for their services is so high that most are snapped up by local employers before the course finishes.

Completion of the New Zealand Certificate in Beauty Therapy (Level 4) or equivalent and knowledge, experience and/or qualification(s).
Standard Entry Criteria
For Levels 5, 6 and 7 certificate or diploma, domestic students under 20 and all international students must have:
NCEA Level 2 with passes in English/Te Reo M?ori or education achievement at least equivalent to NCEA Level 2 and a minimum of 42 credits at level 3; OR
Evidence of ability to complete academic requirements for the programme.
English Language requirements:
IELTS Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5.0; TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT) score of 46 (with a writing score of 14); TOEFL Paper-based test (pBT) score of 550 (with an essay score of 5 TWE); Cambridge English Qualifications: B2 First or B2 First for schools with a score of 162. No less than 154 in each skill; OET: Minimum of Grade C or 200 in all sub-tests; PTE (Academic) score of 42 with no band score lower than 36.
