Programme Structure
The Postgraduate Certificate in Environmental Management is normally a single semester, full-time study qualification, but part-time study is also possible.
You鈥檙e required to achieve 60 credits in total (all at 600-level), which includes 20 credits from one of ERST601, ERST630 or MAST603, at least 20 credits (three courses) with ERST, LWST, MAST, ECOL or WATR prefixes and a maximum of one 20-credit elective course from the schedule of courses to make a coherent programme of study.
Not all of these courses are available online. The online options are clearly identified as such on the individual course pages.
These course choices must be approved by the Academic Coordinator to ensure they form a coherent study programme.
Online study option
The Postgraduate Certificate in Environmental Management can be completed fully online, but please note that the range of courses to select from will be limited. Refer to the online course options for the Master of Environmental Policy and Management, together with the course regulations shown below.
If you are considering progressing to the Master of Applied Science (Environmental Management), Master of Planning or Master of Environmental Policy and Management, you should consider the regulations for these when selecting your courses.
