The MRes in Criminal Justice is a pre-doctoral training programme designed to provide a critical, research-led approach to the study of aspects of criminal justice, together with training in the key research skills appropriate for doctoral-level study.

• Undertake a suite of substantive modules offered in conjunction with the Criminal Justice LLM
• This MRes is an approved pathway for ESRC funding, enabling you to apply for ESRC 1+3 funding to cover the MRes and a PhD
• Study within the Criminal Justice Centre (CJC), a forum for research and learning in criminal justice, and attend seminars, lectures, workshops and conferences
• Your fellow students will come from the UK and more than 80 other countries, each able to draw on prior academic and professional experience from different jurisdictions

• The Postgraduate School of Law Centre in Lincoln's Inn Fields and the Graduate Centre at Mile End
• Queen Mary鈥檚 excellent Law Library and European Documentation Centre
• Free access to online databases and collections including: LexisNexis, Westlaw, Justis, Eur-lex, Hein-Online and many more
• Access to the University of London鈥檚 Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) and the Library at Senate House
