You will analyse education, drawing upon a range of disciplines, including sociology, policy, globalisation, technology and social justice.You will examine how people have experienced education and how society and culture influence what is taught and how. Throughout the course, you will consider education as being something that happens in both classroom and community contexts. Government policy and initiatives will be explored to identify how policy affects local, national and international educational practices, as well as peoples’ life chances.
