The Cosmetology program allows students to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree with transferable credits to a college or university to pursue a bachelor degree and creating a foundation for entrepreneurial development.
Students in the Cosmetology program can also pursue a 25-credit-hour Esthetician Specialty Certificate to become a skin and facial specialist. All Cosmetology courses will be taught in a new 3,800-square-foot full-service Learning Studio with 26 hair stations, 16 nail stations, and a dedicated esthetics room.
This AAS degree is designed for students seeking a career in cosmetic treatments for skin. The program prepares the students with the theory and basic skills to successfully pass the State Licensing Examination.
