Anthropology majors study people around the world — people from different times and places. They learn how our thoughts and beliefs are shaped by the cultural communities in which we are raised.
What makes UToledo’s anthropology program unique? Undergraduates learn by doing. They work in the field, in the lab and in the community. Anthropology bachelor’s degree students are trained to collect, analyze and interpret data.
Anthropology graduates leave The University of Toledo with well-developed communication and critical thinking skills that allow them to solve real-life problems. These skills are valuable in many fields, including education, health care, public policy, social work, ecology and more.
