If you have the passion to ignite creativity in young minds, the MST in Visual Arts is for you. Study sound theories and effective practices for teaching Visual Arts so that all children can learn self-expression about themselves and others in the world around them. This 34-credit program can be completed in under two years and meets all NYS Education Department鈥檚 requirements to teach visual arts to grades Pre-K through 12.

Applicants to Pace University graduate degree and certificate programs must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university if postsecondary education was completed in the United States. Applicants who are currently in their senior year at an undergraduate institution may apply for admission, but acceptance will be contingent upon receipt of a final transcript indicating all senior year grades and receipt of the bachelor's degree. Applicants who have attended institutions outside of the U.S. must hold a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree.
For School of Education, a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 88, a minimum TOEFL Essentials score of 9.5, a minimum overall IELTS score of 7.0, or a Pearson PTE academic score of 61 is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.
