With a Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship, you will receive fully funded study at the University - and the chance to give back to your country.

Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships are funded through the New Zealand Aid Programme and administered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade to help build prosperity, security, and sustainable growth in partner countries.

At Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington鈥攁 Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships partner institution鈥攜ou can study programmes that will best benefit your country, while receiving ongoing support from a dedicated team. Your Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship will give you a world-class education, lifelong friendships, and vital skills to strengthen your career.

Students from eligible partner countries in the following regions may apply:

• Africa
• Asia
• Caribbean
• Latin America
• Pacific

Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships are available to students in more than 80 partner countries around the world. New Zealand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) administers the Scholarship and gives priority to students who study in sectors or subjects that best meet their country鈥檚 economic and social needs.

You may be eligible to apply if:

• your country is eligible
• your chosen study path matches the recommended subjects for your country
• you meet the Scholarship's citizenship and work experience criteria.

What the Scholarship covers

• Your Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship covers most of the costs of studying including your fees, travel, insurance, and a fortnightly living allowance.
